I attended an antique car show over the summer which made me swoon and wish for a bygone era. The cars were simply exquisite – the quality, craftsmanship, and style of these automobiles was impeccable. It is a shame that nothing we own now will be around for future generations to admire – the cars produced now barely last ten years!
My favorite automobile was as big as a carriage, and looked like a carriage on the inside with its grey pinstriped material and burgundy accents. If I could have chosen one car to ride in that afternoon, this would have been the one.
The rest of the vehicles which caught my eye are captured below. I could imagine taking that powder blue beauty for a spin along a winding road with an ocean view.
I was drooling over the picnic set up below because the food looked scrumptious – they actually had a fold up picnic table made of wood and steel! I had no idea they made portable picnic tables.
I hope you enjoyed these pictures of the Concours d’Elegance. Have a wonderful week!
I’m so envious. That looks like a fantastic axibit. And I love old cars myself. One of my friends told me, ‘You shoudl get one and put it in your leaving room. That’s fascionable.’
Well, it is. But I first need to own a house with a leaving room big enough for a car 😉
I love the idea of having an antique car in your house like a piece of art (when you have the space of course). For now, maybe you could get a model antique car – the small ones you can place on a shelf.
