Windmill Wishes by Cindy Adelle Richard

This image made me think of daydreaming, so I decided to write a Haiku poem to accompany it:

Windmill Wishes

Spinning windswept clouds

canary yellow tulip fields

vague visions of home

I had fun painting ceramics with my team. The second picture shows some of our creations. The platter with the bird on it is mine. #ceramics #artevent
I actually had enough energy to write after work today. I will accept this opportunity as the gift 🎁 that it is. I hope your week is off to a great start. #writinginspiration #writer #writingprocess
I went to visit the peony garden 🪴 at the arboretum today, and I thought I’d share a few of my favorites to brighten your day. #peonies #nicholsarboretum #springdays
I wanted to share an illustrated version of my favorite book, The Great Gatsby. The illustrations are by Aya Morton, and she perfectly captures the text and mood in her artwork. I included some of my favorites illustrations from the book, but the entire book is beautiful! #booklover #booklovers #reading #bookstoread #ilovetoread #bibliophile #bibliophiles #readersofinstagram #bookstagrammer
I started a sketching practice on 5/13/22, and so far I’ve been sticking with it. I complete these mini portraits while I enjoy my morning tea, and they take me from 10-20 minutes. These are some of my favorites so far. And I adore my mermaid 🧜‍♀️ sketchbook (the last image). #art #artwork #artist #sketchartist #sketchbook #portraitsketching
Bestill my bibliophile heart ❤️! My teapot and teacup made out of book pages just arrived, and I’m in love 🥰 I saw this at a bookshop in Chelsea, and the shop owner was kind enough to tell me she purchased it on Etsy. I got online that very evening and found it. The artist is Kainoa’s Kreations and you can find her at KaisKreations. #booklover #booklovers #booklove #literarygifts #literaryswag #kaiskreations
