Hello! I am Cindy Adelle Richard, and welcome to Adelle Circa 1920 Art Studio. I will start by explaining what the name Adelle Circa 1920 means. Adelle is my middle name, and it fits perfectly with the time period I love the best — the 1920s. I included circa because the things I tend to love the best were invented and/or produced around or about 1920.

My desire to share some of the inspiring lessons I’ve learned during my 17+ years as a career advisor inspired me to write this blog and create art focused on living one’s purpose. For my Etsy shop, Adelle Circa 1920, I provide handcrafted, original, vintage inspired watercolor illustrations and goods based on a fictional art colony I created called The Isle of Adelle. This world originated from my desire to inhabit a place where living one’s calling, creativity, slow living, simplicity, and style reign.

Thank you for visiting Adelle Circa 1920. I hope you find helpful information and inspiration by engaging with my blog posts.

Can I read your stories somewhere? I don’t see any info about it on this blog.
I haven’t prublished anything yet, but you can read excerpts from my WIP on my blog… in case you feel like it 😉

    1. I read an excerpt from your story about the speakeasy – very interesting; I would love to read more. I have not published yet but I am currently working on getting some things published – I will be sure to share them when I do.
