Windmill Wishes by Cindy Adelle Richard

This image made me think of daydreaming, so I decided to write a Haiku poem to accompany it:

Windmill Wishes

Spinning windswept clouds

canary yellow tulip fields

vague visions of home

birds, daydreams, flowers, Imagination, portrait, woman

Bestill my bibliophile heart ❤️! My teapot and teacup made out of book pages just arrived, and I’m in love 🥰 I saw this at a bookshop in Chelsea, and the shop owner was kind enough to tell me she purchased it on Etsy. I got online that very evening and found it. The artist is Kainoa’s Kreations and you can find her at KaisKreations. #booklover #booklovers #booklove #literarygifts #literaryswag #kaiskreations
I finished a course called “Found” by Renee Mueller about finding your voice as an artist. I took it to refine my voice more than find my voice, and it helped me to figure a lot of things out. One of my favorite discoveries was the decision to focus on creating illustrated journals. The images featured are from a mark making exercise I completed (I made some of them into bookmarks). #art #artwork #watercolor #watercolorartist #artist #watercolorillustrators #watercolorillustrations #markmakingart #reneemuellerart
I’ve attended two live literary events in short order, and it felt so good! I went to see Emily St. John Mandel talk about her new book (and the fact that more of her books are being brought to the screen vis Netflix). I also attended the Midwest Literary Walk in Chelsea and heard Don Winslow, Billy Collins, and Ashley C. Ford speak. I also did a bit of shopping- I found this mini birdhouse and it fits right in with my studio decor. #booklover #booklovers #reading #bookstoread #ilovetoread #bibliophile #bibliophiles #readersofinstagram #bookstagrammer
How amazing is this sign? I always love signs that are like works of art, and I have a thing for rabbits 🐇. The interior of the store was just as lovely- it was filled with art, stationery, and gifts for every occasion. #artinspiration #creativeinspiration #storesigns
I love that one of my local libraries has so many great places to sit. How cute are those honeycomb cubes for reading? It also has a coffee shop attached.
I went exploring at the botanical gardens - spring is finally here! #birdnest #spring2022
